Two patterns are discriminated by comparison with length of dorsal seta Z5 and width of dorsal shield.
1. Choose the drawing picture at left if dorsal seta Z5 is longer than the width of dorsal shield. The specimen maybe Amblyseius eharai and Amblyseius orientalis.
2. Choose the drawing picture at right if dorsal seta Z5 is as long as the width of dorsal shield. The specimen maybe Amblyseius tsugawai, A. rademacheri, and A. swirskii.
